JLL appoints New York market leader; Foundry expands Tampa, Florida, team; Vestian adds Panera veteran

JLL appointed Angela Gentry to serve as its New York market lead less than six months after she was promoted to vice chair of leasing advisory. In her new role, Gentry will lead growth strategy, financial performance, recruitment and talent development for the New York tri-state region, JLL said.

Gentry will work alongside region Chairman and President Peter Riguardi. JLL said elevating Gentry is a deliberate step to pair Riguardi’s New York experience with Gentry’s innovative and strategic focus. Gentry, who joined JLL in 2022, has since played an essential role in the firm’s growth and business development, JLL said. Her integration of business development, marketing, research and technology created a model that is now being adopted by JLL nationally. As part of her new role, she will work with leaders across JLL’s business lines to drive growth. Gentry, who brings over 20 years of commercial real estate experience to the position, previously held senior leadership positions in Chicago, Los Angeles and New York at CBRE.

Foundry Commercial expanded its reach throughout Central Florida with the addition of Tom Quinlan as a vice president and Dominic Hewitt as a senior associate in the firm’s Tampa-based industrial team. Before that, Quinlan held roles at CBRE and Newmark, and Hewitt worked at Apex Industrial Real Estate, Stream Realty and MDH Partners.
