AI Layoffs Loom, Yet Consulting Giants McKinsey, Bain Hike Starting Salaries to $200K|Firstpost Live

Artificial intelligence was expected to disrupt the consulting industry. But McKinsey, Bain & Company and Boston Consulting Group are raising starting salaries for new hires in the United States for the first time since 2022. From 2027, MBA graduates at all three firms are expected to earn $200,000 in annual base pay, while undergraduate hires will receive $120,000.
